Amazing. So everyone will flock to the bottle stores tomorrow and Thursday making them crowded, and then at the weekend everyone will flock to the pubs and shebeens making them crowded.
Makes no sense this time. On site sales are allowed.

Ja. Smart!

I myself went in the afternoon before the maddening crowd and get 2 cases (why not) and a bottle of wine for my mother (she will be staying over Sunday).

The oke that works there said they were bracing themselves for impact later today and up to Thursday.

Watched a meeting (SO's colleagues). She was online but 8 idiots in their boardroom not a mask in sight.
I hope they all get Covid and Aids.

The no masking is spreading everywhere. Chimney people came to have a look at the cowel today and no masks on. At the place where I rent most don't wear masks.

I walked past 6 moving guys this morning (taking heavy stuff out of an apartment) and EVERY SINGLE one was wearing a mask.

I just think some people think they are special.

That program was a joke. We tried to access it via FNB and they wanted us to put up our homes as surety. The banks didn't like the competition from government and weren't going to play along. So they obstructed it as much as they could. Less than 10% of R200b was disbursed and it ends 11 April.

I asked my accountant about this and the other schemes when they started last year, she basically told me not to bother and ride it out as she did not see it working or ending well. I am glad I listened to her.

It is a bit worrying that actives are up for the third day in a row (before the Easter bunfight at Moria). Now back over 22k.

(Eskom se Push has gotten around Google/government blocking their reporting the corona scorecard by putting it on twitter.)

Damn, my hypertension isn’t going to help me get into phase 2 anymore. Meh.

Can’t blame them, how would they have verified it?

“Phase 2 would target those over 60, workers aged 40 and older and those living in congregate settings such as old-age homes and prisons. Bamford said that while those with comorbidities will not be specifically targeted in this phase, she believed most will be covered by the age requirement.”
