How do I prevent Excel from formatting whatever I paste into it as a hyperlink? [I'm pasting as Text.]
You can use the clear hyperlinks command when text paste doesn't work. :)

... or your data don't like being confined to cells and want to go places. :D

Thanks, Lara

What I am pasting in are delivery addresses for tender documents, names of organisations/government departments advertising the bid, and contact details for bid enquiries.

Right-click and hit paste keep text only, all MS office products should have it post 2016 or so.

EDIT: That doesn't keep the link for me, not sure why it does yours if it does. It's the right-most option above.

I want to travel SA. So but probably won't be able to stop working for long. Besides - traveling costs.

Beat poet. Someday I might have the life experience to top the greats.

Or die trying ;)

and that is one of the reasons for high unemployment amongst school leavers....there is no place for them, because old fogies are blocking the way for everyone

We currently have 2 fucking pensioners in our team (of 7) and we don't need either.

I disagree somewhat. It's not always about the money. Many people enjoy being enterprising. But I do agree when it's time to retire from a salaried job then move on and let younger people have the opportunity. I know a few people who have retired and started their own businesses and provide employment opportunities to others.

I am talking from a salaried position. Hell, pensioners can go forth and open a billion businesses for all I care.

Why do companies & governments have a pensionable age? Is it for peanuts? A mere suggestion?

Soon you'll be able to travel "Total Recall" style if Elon Musk succeeds. :D
