Ok in this age of Covid 19 depression and anxiety we can all do with some laffs for an emotional boost.

On another thread someone mentioned two of my favourite funniest movies (Team America and Weekend at Bernies) which got me thinking of starting this thread.
Without any further ado.... pls share your favourite funniest movies of all time on here and compare notes. We all have a different sense of humour so let's see which movies we all possibly have in common?!

My top 10 pick (and there might be some that I forgot about...):
1 & 2. Two flix mentioned above
3. Eurotrip (not a commercial success but for some reasons my wife and I just crack ourselves for the comedy in this one.)
4. There's something at Mary (Brilliant!!)
5. Meet the Parents (and sequels are not bad either)
6. Old School (Will Ferril is the bomb in this movie)
7. Bad Boys - Strange having an action movie in this list but this movie has some real funny scenes. Many more in my opinion than many other comedy movies out there.
8. This is the End. Just loooved Franco and his usual bunch of misfits in this movie.
9. The Pink Panther Strikes again (Peter Sellers) - Wow, a different type of funny. Brilliant comedic performance by Sellers. The Dentist scene is one of my all time favourites.
10. RESERVED - OK I ran out of movies worthy of my top 10. Honourable mentions below just not good enough. Update to follow.

Worthy mentions:
1. The Hangover - it was a great movie when it came out - super entertaining and all but not quite the funniest of them all in my opinion.
2. Austin Powers movies - especially no1 & 2.
3. The interview (Rogen/Franco)
4. Stir Crazy & See No Evil, Hear no Evil - classics from Wilder & Pryor.
5. National Lampoons Chevy Chase movies - Several of them. Pretty funny and good entertainment.
6. Tenacious D in the pick of Destiny
7. Space Balls
8. Galaxy Quest

So I watched Planes, Trains... movie last night. Not bad. A classic 80's film. Enjoy it. Maybe not one of the funniest movies of all time but a good movie nevertheless.

Tonight it be Idiocracy.
