I am going to be shopping for a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. My upper limit including shipping is R 8000. I would like to have 16Gb of RAM.
Core i3 12100 might do it for me. Opinions, please. Thanks.

Evetech has some nice upgrade deals that includes ram, CPU and motherboard.

They have a bad reputation when it comes to support/warranties though I’ve never had to return a PC component.
still a good place to start on figuring out what to buy at least.
I have only used them once so I cant really comment much on the returns issues

Anything more sophisticated is mega-overkill for me.

If a courier delivered "gaming" peripherals to me, the part of me that controls my money would want another part of my mind to explain itself, then launch a commission of enquiry into how this purchase decision slipped past it. Fruitless and wasteful expenditure, it would call it. :p

Then again, I am not someone hardware like this would be marketed to. That is not to say I might not be impressed by the feats other people might pull off using a mouse that costs somewhat more than what an office worker would.

So you dont use a 6 button mouse?
that's like using a mouse without a scroll wheel. how the hell do you live?!
